The Walt Disney Company Manager, Marketing & Sales Studio Entertainment Thailand in Bangkok, Thailand

This important role will be responsible for leading our Studio Marketing and ad sales and promotions functions across Thailand.

Studios include Disney Animation, Disney Live Action, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee creation and implementation of marketing and publicity strategy for all Studio releases in Thailand

  • Own the local relationship with our media buying and publicity agencies as well as any other 3rd parties engaged in marketing activities on our behalf

  • Work closely with the Regional Marketing team based in Singapore to align with & support Regional strategies

  • Work closely with local sales/distribution teams as well as local key exhibitors

  • Manage and maximize revenues across our TV portfolio, including Disney Junior, Disney Channel and Disney XD.

  • Build a robust portfolio of external Theatrical Promotions partners and strong incremental support for key Theatrical Releases through earned media and manage the Theatrical Approvals process.

  • Work closely with the Consumer Licencing and Retail teams to offer unique promotional propositions to our top licences and build Retail promotions that drive value for the company via incremental exposure for our Franchises and Theatrical releases.

  • Understand and uphold the Disney brand values and ensure they are adhered to in any promotional or advertising activities

  • Understand the relevant media agency landscapes, develop a database of key contacts at these agencies and prioritise representation according to relevance and opportunity.

  • Work with Exec. Director SEA to identify key direct clients and build strong long term relationships which media sales and benefit all parts of TWDC Thailand

  • Work closely with the Regional DM+ team to share best practices and adopt policies, procedures and creative promotions that are best in class with the objective of being a market leader.

  • Work closely with the global teams on any global client opportunities and local implementations to leverage the Disney global sales network for key accounts.

  • Accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, revenue & client analysis

Basic Qualifications :

The ideal candidate would have the following qualities

  1. 8 yrs +Marketing and/or Media Sales experience

  2. Established industry contacts at a senior level

  3. Experience of managing and growing a team

  4. Experience managing a P&L

  5. Experience managing 3rd party representatives

  6. Experience presenting at a senior level and good manager of internal stakeholders

  7. Theatrical Promotions expertise
