The Walt Disney Company Executive Assistant I – Technology in Bristol, Connecticut
DTCI is seeking an experienced and energetic Executive Assistant position that manages all aspects of daily office operations for the Technology department in Bristol and supports the Senior Vice President, and other executives in the group.
Based in Bristol, this position joins a team of experienced Executive Assistants who support DTCI. We are looking for a responsible Senior Executive Assistant to support our senior managers in a timely and professional manner. You will provide high-quality administrative and clerical assistance to top-level executives.
The Executive Assistant’s main duties include scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements and organizing daily calendars. To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, meet deadlines and communicate effectively. Our ideal candidate also has previous experience as an Executive Assistant and is familiar with office management technologies.Ultimately, should be able to identify and address the needs of senior managers and perform administrative tasks to ensure our company’s workflow runs smoothly
Serve as the primary initial contact for those who are interested in getting in contact with DTCI
Manage the overall office operations in Bristol by driving execution of tasks, solving complex problems and support all administrative needs of Technology Bristol main headquarters.
Responsible for managing all aspects of daily office operations including coordinating office space for staff, ordering supplies and maintaining equipment
Serves as liaison with Bristol based functions including IT and Facilities. Assists the H.R. department with onboarding functions for all incoming staff – UAA equipment requests, computer access, gathering documents for I-9 compliance.
Assists the SVP/VP in all administrative functions necessary to their positions, including maintaining the calendars, scheduling appointments, booking travel, doing expense reporting, preparing presentations, organizing events and meetings, and managing relationships with key people both internally and externally.
Coordinates the administration, logistics and flow of the work for the assigned executive(s); tracks and follows-up on key “to-do” items in behalf of the assigned executive(s)
Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and tact
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of related executive administrative experience in generally comparable functions
Has advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, databases used by the executive(s) supported
Has advanced knowledge of many administrative functions and processes
Demonstrates the following: time management, organizational skills, conflict management, business acumen, planning, priority setting, decision quality, excellent verbal and written communication, and computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications :
Has strong sports knowledge and knowledge of the brand
Uses social media and other online tools to more effectively communicate with press & consumers
Has an interest in and experience in the Technology field
Has highly advanced skills in communication and diplomacy; has high sensitivity to the purposes and motivations of the persons desiring contact with the assigned executive(s); is sensitive to and able to work effectively with a diverse group and individuals
Has a highly advanced ability to organize work and to set priorities; has advanced multi-tasking skills
Required Education :
