The Walt Disney Company Director, International AV Creative - Theatrical Marketing in Burbank, California

  • Oversee and manage creative content executions (Disney channel, special shoots, liners, talent greetings, market specific content) across all film brands and teams.

  • Manage on-set visits with Int’l Disney Channel hosts and Influencers.

  • Direct liaison with domestic Creative Content team to advise Intl needs across all film brands.

  • Oversee the process of collecting and managing all Int’l market requests for Content Days with talent, and toolkit requests.

  • Create and execute AV marketing materials and original content (Trailers, TV spots) specific to each campaign, from editorial through finishing.

  • Effectively manage outside AV vendors to create and produce concepts, scripts from ideation to final delivery, within timeline and budget.

  • Utilize feedback from Team Leader to create and prepare materials for focus groups and online testing.

  • Oversee the content materials calendar, available materials and delivery schedules communication to the markets and Burbank teams.

  • Work closely with the localization teams to supply finished materials and meet deadlines.

  • Collaborate with Print lead to insure cohesion of strategy, copy, etc.

  • Approve and submit invoices as well as track current spending.

  • Work alongside the Creative Coordinator to secure approvals from talent reps, internal stakeholders, legal and music clearances.

  • Manage title marketing budgets; reporting regular updates to team leader.

  • Liaise and communicate with internal departments, including Domestic, Strategy, Promotions, Digital, Publicity, etc. for global consistency and sharing of materials.

  • Oversee special projects as needed.

  • Creative Advertising experience within the entertainment industry (ideally for theatrical or home entertainment marketing campaigns)

  • Solid knowledge of the creative and finishing processes

  • Strong proficiency in the following programs – Keynote, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Adobe Premiere/FinalCut experience a plus.

  • Ability to work well individually, while also collaborating with the larger group

  • Must be able to accept changes readily and be flexible in adapting to re-prioritized tasks

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, "always available" attitude

  • Ability to travel internationally as needed

  • Experience working with international markets

  • 10 or more years of creative marketing experience

  • 7 or more years of experience in an AV role

  • Experience in or interest in learning Print process highly desirable

  • Fluency in a second language a plus, but not required

  • At least 10+ years of experience in Creative Advertising within the entertainment industry. Experience working with international markets preferred.

  • At least 7+ years of experience in an AV role, solid knowledge of the creative and finishing processes required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Preferred Education :
