The Walt Disney Company Product Creative Marketing Manager (Disney+ Creative Marketing) in Burbank, California

  • Work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery process of assets – seeking out optimal workflows and systems to handle product artwork as it scales up with new tests and creative demands.

  • Manage relationships and projects with creative agencies to execute creative deliverables.

  • Manage Product creative assets developed by partner studio teams (TWDC Studios, Nat Geo, ABC, Disney Channel) and work with the VP, Creative to ensure they all fold into the larger D+ product guidelines in a creatively cohesive manner. Collaborate with those teams and build relationships and trust with partner creative leaders.

  • Assist VP, Marketing in briefing and creative directing product assets for product/platform needs for title. Understands creative trends and ensures that all D+ product efforts feel premium, engaging, and appropriate for the D+ audience.

  • Navigate through multiple business-focused partner departments (legal, business affairs, finance, brand management) to deliver creative results for the product that meet business needs and requirements.

  • Conceive, create, and prepare presentations to share Product creative as well as Product updates to management and partners across brands and stakeholders at TWDC.

  • Work very closely with the Product teams based in SF and NYC to stay on top of creative tests, updates, needs and changes, then proactively communicate those updates and changes to relevant Burbank stakeholders.

  • Experience with digital artwork, static asset creative and key art creative concepting.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly.

  • Keen eye for design, and ability to art direct development of logos, artwork, AV and digital creative.

  • Passionate about storytelling, particularly in or static mediums.

  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and within a matrixed reporting environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure successful interactions, strong working relationships and the ability to interface with varied levels of management, peers and partners across varying teams

  • Highly collaborative creative sensibility, with ability to be open minded to feedback and always seeking out the best idea, not just their own idea.

  • Understanding and open-mindedness to data and analytics helping guide creative choices. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and product teams to use data to inform decisions.

  • 3 – 5+ years experiences marketing entertainment properties.

  • Worked at either a studio, network, or agency environment with an extensive knowledge of the layers and processes behind creative marketing.

  • Understanding the business necessities of a startup/launch property – experience defining and creating new systems or processes.

  • Experience with streaming platform marketing – how a DTC product works, and how to make effective marketing materials to drive engagement and subscriber growth.

  • Digital or Product experience a plus – understanding highly technical systems and possessing an algorithmic fluency.

  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferably a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Cinema/Television or related field.

The Product Creative Marketing Manager on the Disney+ Creative Marketing team, will focus solely on product creative assets and deliverables. This person is responsible for knowing the specs, tests, and roadmap for the product, and will be the product liaison expert for all questions and requests. They will run product creative in close concert with the Creative Managers ensuring all spec changes, and partner on deliverables, while working with the operations team on deliveries and needs.
