The Walt Disney Company Space & Occupancy Management Analyst in Burbank, California

Real Estate Global Portfolio Management & Transactions (CRE) is responsible for managing TWDC’s Global Real Estate Portfolio. In addition to managing all activities pertaining to leases including office and warehouse space, antenna, tower, land & building acquisitions, dispositions, subleases, etc., CRE also assists with the management of space in berm most specifically for the Studio Lot, GCBC, and ABC Campus. CRE effectively manages space requirements for all LOB’s while meeting critical dates and providing innovative and cost effective real estate solutions in support of a dynamic 20M square foot worldwide real estate portfolio.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for maintaining CRE’s floor plans and occupancy information

o Ensure accuracy and integrity of managed data

o Identify opportunities to improve data collection, maintenance and analysis

o Respond to any space-related inquiries from TWDC stakeholders in an accurate and timely manner

Responsible for floor audits, room numbering, occupancy tracking, AutoCAD Integrator file creation and maintenance, and interactions with Tririga

Collaborate with Account Management, Lease Administration, Facility Management, Design & Delivery, Controllership and Portfolio Management to ensure constant information exchange

Responsible for space planning and drawing file management

o Help the process of compilation of quarterly occupancy cost allocation reporting and provide explanations for changes, as required

o Educate stakeholders on space policies/standards, procedures and protocols

Maintain knowledge of the group’s critical applications and actively participate in any system upgrades and/or enhancements

Expertise in use of CAD/CAFM and space planning and management

• Knowledge of corporate facilities business processes

• Experience with industry standard databases used in a corporate real estate or facilities setting, particularly Tririga, Excel and Access

Basic Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a corporate environment with corporate real estate or facilities management responsibilities

Required Education :

4-year degree with studies in Design, Architecture, Real Estate, Urban Studies and/or equivalent work experience
