The Walt Disney Company Contract Manager in Celebration, Florida

Acting under the direction of the Business Affairs Manager for Disney Institute, the primary focus of this role will be to negotiate and draft agreements for Disney Institute services. Other specific duties for this role will include the following:

Responsibilities :

  • Negotiating and drafting various types of contracts, including program and services agreements, amendments and confidentiality agreements.

  • Resolve contract-related issues and review terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedure.

  • Maintain contract document templates which includes making revisions across multiple versions of the templates and staying up to date on legal issues potentially affecting contract documents and templates and review terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedure.

  • Reviewing terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedure

  • Ensuring contract review and approval in accordance with corporate and/or business unit guidelines.

  • Resolving contract-related issues both internally for Cast Member or externally for Disney Institute clients.

  • Managing contract database (Workfront), contract status reports and the electronic signature database (DocuSign).

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years experience in contract drafting and negotiation and/or in a contract management role.

  • Extreme level of attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated and flexible.

  • Critical thinking.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.

  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt successfully in a fast paced, ever changing environment with minimal direction.

  • Highly collaborative, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills and a strong attention to detail.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior transactional experience within a business setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify best practices to form recommendations and implement solutions to meet changing business needs.

  • Experience with Workshare, Workfront, DocuSign.

Required Education :

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

  • JD
