Systems, Process & Integration Manager

We are looking for a Systems, Process & Integration (SPI) Manager to join our amazing team located in Celebration, FL.

As SPI Manager; you are responsible for visibility of our global shipments to various businesses throughout The Walt Disney Company. Visibility into the status of orders at each stage (production, booked, delivered, shipped, port, warehouse eta). In addition, support Executive and leadership team on projects and reporting that contribute to successful logistics flow, third party contracting and services. In this role it is important we find someone experienced with using transportation management systems data for contracting analysis and execution of Tableau reporting and visualization solutions that help our clients make decisions.


In this role you will focus on these core areas:

Daily Operations Management

  • Own and manage our Logistics Purchase Order Tracking Tableau tool; delivering upon the best possible shipment status’s on arrival at Disney warehouse’s without AI/ML tools. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Tableau dashboard maintenance, improvement and troubleshooting

  • Order status accuracy owner (Logistics user manual updates program)

  • Data accuracy owner, integrations owner, drive accurate reporting

  • Field mapping owner

  • Investigate gaps in the carrier integrations that are causing bad data updates

  • Planning teams ad-hoc data requests, sql queries as needed

  • Functional test owner, UAT owner

  • Requirements documentation owner

  • Develop analytical solutions for data discovery and exploration leading to improvement in accuracy of our Transportation lead-time commitments and ERP integrations

  • Performs data management through a combination of data mining via transportation management system, data modeling, data analysis, cost / benefit analysis as needed

Supply Chain Partners and Internal Client Performance Program and Contracting

  • Strong business acumen to create dashboards that will provide great insights for review and action planning with Sr. Management

  • Participate in and summarize quarterly performance continuous improvement feedback sessions and drive corrective action planning

  • Provide analytical support for contracting RFPs (request for proposal) across various modes of transportation, calculating current and proposed spend impacts for finance and leadership decision making

  • Good multi-tasking skills to prioritize and organize projects effectively to meet various deadlines

Logistics Projects

  • Establish the domain expertise to be able to support the Director and Sr Mgmt team in various projects, analytics that drive operational excellence

  • Analytics as ad-hoc queries, maintaining data, and generating reports from a variety of databases/systems specific to departmental, organization and customer needs

Basic qualifications:

  • 5 plus years’ logistics/supply chain experience. Highly experienced in the management of logistics data and systems.

  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to communicate and interact effectively and promptly with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated leadership skills in influencing departments and implementing and managing change. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals.

  • Experience with CRM: logistics providers, suppliers and client’s performance programs and dashboards. Experience with Service policies, KPI standards and CIP process.

  • Optimization experience with supply chain optimization models and analysis in order to identify and drive optimal costs and services. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Highly experienced in pitching logistics programs. Able to develop solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals, implementing business requirements and identifying timeline constraints, and risks.

  • Computer literate. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Tableau. Familiarity with data warehousing and architecture tools, including SQL

Preferred qualifications:

  • ORACLE OTM experience a plus

  • Prior knowledge in Disney supply chain / logistics operation

Required Education:

  • BS degree: Business Administration, Information Systems/Computer Science or Supply Chain/Logistics Management disciple preferred

Preferred Education:

  • MS, MBA degree: Systems Engineering, Quality and Reliability of Systems, Supply Chain Management a plus
