The Walt Disney Company Sr Pricing Analyst in Celebration, Florida

The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across Walt Disney Parks & Resorts including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise and Food & Beverage in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, promotions and optimization.

As the Sr. Analyst on the Pricing Strategy and Integration team, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, helping transform the way we generate revenue by working on highly visible and collaborative programs and initiatives, including:

  • WDW Site Projects: develop and lead evolution of pricing strategies and tools to deliver on future vision, while ensuring success of current initiatives and proactively identifying areas of opportunity through analytical expertise

  • Global Segment Support: identify, share and champion revenue opportunities, insights, and best practices with the global parks and resorts sites

  • Annual Pass Program: lead holistic program pricing efforts and support ongoing portfolio development and optimization to ensure long-term financial success

This role provides strategic and analytical insight for ongoing business challenges and new business opportunities as well as supports day-to-day responsibility of key pricing, product, and revenue optimization decisions.

A successful candidate will have the ability to connect seemingly unrelated information and ideas, execute on ideas and create something tangible, and share knowledge in a coherent, compelling way.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform detailed analyses using financial and statistical modeling techniques to evaluate the impact of initiatives, measure key business performance metrics and determine continuous improvement opportunities

  • Translate complex problems and large data sets into actionable insights and story-telling presentations for key stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Collaborate with key partners across the organization (e.g., Forecasting, Technology, Marketing and Sales, Digital, Revenue Management, CIMA, DRC, Legal) to understand and communicate business performance, new initiatives and drive strategic opportunities

  • Support global sites by sharing best practices and site insights to inform and develop new strategies to action against identified opportunities

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum three years of work experience in business analysis and/or strategy development

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and associated database applications (e.g., Teradata, SQL and Tableau)

  • Exceptional business acumen with proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Minimum five years of work experience in business analysis and/or strategy development

  • Proven knowledge of Disney resorts and theme parks

  • Knowledge of Revenue Management and Analytics

Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or other quantitative field or equivalent

Preferred Education :

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
