The Walt Disney Company Manager, Digital Marketing, Social in Glendale, California
The Digital Marketing, Social group is responsible for overseeing over 350+ handles across multiple brands (Disney, Pixar, Star Wars), franchises and films (Disney Princess, Mickey, Frozen), and brand voices (Oh My Disney, Disney Family, Disney Style) for the Direct-to-Consumer & International segment.
The Manager, Digital Marketing, Social will oversee the planning and daily management of social and website properties across the Direct-to-Consumer & International segment. This individual serves a dual role as chief editor and strategist for franchises, films, and original brands within the larger Digital Marketing, Social Team.
Manage a team of Social Engagement Strategists that plan across all social media platforms
Set the overall vision and social strategy for franchises and films through an evergreen, always-on approach
Partner with business units across The Walt Disney Company to activate the Disney Digital Network
Participate in the planning, development, and management of long and short-term franchise plans
Use data and fan sentiment to track and analyze performance, optimal mix of digital content, and community growth
Identify emerging trends, platforms, and tools to develop, grow, and sustain new and existing audiences
Deliver best-in-class solutions to drive streaming service subscriptions and awareness across all social platforms
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum BA or BS degree, preferable in Communications, Business, Marketing, and/or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to pair creative strategy with larger business objectives
Passion for storytelling and creating high-class brand experiences in the social space
Thorough understanding of social media analysis, website performance, and reporting
Superior knowledge of social platforms and native tools
Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and platform offerings
Polished in presentation and communication
Preferred experience in Sprinklr publishing and reporting, Facebook Business Manager Insights, and Keynote presentations
Required Education :
- BA or BS degree, preferable in Communications, Business, Marketing, and/or related field.
