The role will primarily be focused on the Walt Disney World and Disney Signature Experiences business units, is based in Orlando, FL and reports to the Senior Manager, Organization Development.

  • Partner closely with OD leaders and HR Business Partners to support business needs assessment, contribute toward recommendations, and manage projects to improve the performance of leaders, teams and organizations.

  • Support OD Leadership for a variety of projects, including strategy development, organization assessment, organization design, change and transition management, and culture transformation across a diverse set of DPEP businesses.

  • Support transformation initiatives that enable DPEP business priorities.

  • Continually develop and apply broad organizational knowledge to address CPGP business and organizational challenges by recognizing patterns through an enterprise and systems thinking mindset.

  • Develop ability to adapt consulting approach and style to the culture to each business unit, geography and client; Understand the mindset, skills and tools HR and senior leadership need to ensure sustainment of results.

  • Emphasize simplicity, relevancy, pragmatism and impact in all work.

  • Use data, analytics and insights to enable evidence-based approach to OD and continuously assess and demonstrate impact.

  • Leverage project management and organizational skills to support complex work; Develop project schedules, plans and timelines.

  • Continually invest in self-development and the evolution of the OD discipline by remaining current with new developments, technologies, industry trends and innovations; Support continuous improvement of OD tools and resources

  • Build trust and collaborate with teams in a global and virtual environment

  • Knows how to tell compelling stories in ways that are visually appealing and captivate audiences.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to bring stakeholders along the journey when facilitating outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.

  • Working knowledge of people insights, survey research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and data mining to derive insights and tell holistic stories about our workforce.

  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data, create pivot tables, and leverage formulas such as v-lookup to audit data and compare multiple data sets.

  • Strong PowerPoint skills with knowledge of graphic design principles to tell visually appealing, modern stories. Experience with creative software solutions like the Adobe suite is a plus.

  • Experience working with Survey tools such as Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms is a plus.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the field of Organizational Development, Organizational Behaviors, Human Resources Management, or Business-related fields.

Preferred Education

  • Advanced Degree – MA/MS in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behaviors, Organizational Development/Effectiveness, Leadership Development or Related field; Master of Business Administration.

  • Prosci Change Management Certification, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or equivalent.
