Responsibilities :

  • Lead a team of 5 members to manage the overall payroll operations – to ensure all Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) Cast Members are paid timely and accurately, and are in compliance with all related legislative requirements

  • Work closely with Human Resources Information Systems or Financial Systems teams in liaising with US technical team on new initiatives or enhancements and work with related parties to ensure thorough design and testing are done with no adverse impact to the daily payroll operations

  • Partner with HR, Workforce Management, Legal and Operations leaders to ensure all pay related data is updated correctly in a timely manner and anything impacted on the payroll operations will be properly addressed

  • Actively participate and support process improvement projects, and to provide professional advices from payroll, cash and bank account management as well as Cast Members’ perspectives

  • Prepare account reconciliations, financial entries & reports for labor cost allocations and financial reporting

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in any disciplines, majoring in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration would be advantageous

  • Minimum 8 years of Payroll related work experiences, preferably with at least 3 years of supervisory experience

  • Strong ability in interpreting new legal requirements and transforming the requirement into the payroll processes

  • Take initiative to learn and comprehensively understand the Company’s HR policies, and ensure the team’s operations are in full compliance with the policies and relevant ordinances

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for working with different parties or internal and external stakeholders

  • Expertise in MS Excel, Tax Clearance Process in HK and casual MPF contribution is required

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP, Payroll Module, HR Module and CATS is required

  • Good knowledge in Employment Ordinance, Employees' Compensation Ordinance, Minimum Wage Ordinance, Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance, and Inland Revenue Ordinance in Hong Kong

  • Fluent in English and Chinese
