Responsibilities :

  • Cultivate, develop and convert business opportunities within the assigned market segment for various types of MICE business

  • Achieve agreed catering and entertainment revenue goals, room nights and park admissions targets; develop strong incremental business to sustain continuous growth

  • Lead, develop, plan, implement and execute tactics and programs in accordance to the new business model and strategy on park buyout products

  • Maintain repeat business by means of keeping close contact with potential and established accounts

  • Maximum yield management for catering space of meeting groups / theme park buyout events and develop strong repeat business base and constantly source for new business

  • Monitor and support all sales activity, lead generation, conduct familiarization and products presentation

  • Provide timely sales reports, market intelligence, competitive products, market behavior updates and recommend changes to adapt to most up to date market needs

  • Support, provide guidance and benchmarking to junior members

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree holder with minimum 5 years’ experience in MICE sales management in luxury international brand hotel / resort. Experience with handling mainland Chinese corporations will be an advantage

  • Strong selling techniques and banquet knowledge

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills

  • Business oriented with strong analytical skills and good sense in local and global market trends

  • Aggressive, ambitious, organized, self-motivated

  • Ability to work under pressure, achieve sales targets, juggle deadlines and priorities

  • Working knowledge of event planning, group rooms sales, F&B, Park Operations and Entertainment elements will be an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills and able to work with different Line of Businesses within the company

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientated, able to multi-task and work well under a fast paced environment

  • Strong project management skills are required

  • Computer skills in MS Office, Delphi and Opera will be an asset

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua

  • The candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate Sales Manager role
