The Walt Disney Company Data Integrations Manager, DMP (Data Management Platform) in New York, New York

The Data Integrations Manager, DMP (Data Management Platform) role will own and manage our audience development and integration platforms. In this role, you will collaborate across the organization on audience operations and infrastructure aimed at driving marketing acquisition, retention and content engagement for both ESPN+ and Disney+. The ideal candidate will be someone with deep knowledge in audience building, segmentation, activation and experienced in digital media channels.

Responsibilities :

  • Be the expert on our available 1st and 3rd party targeting capabilities

  • Source, build, track and maintain audiences for activation in our DMP

  • Manage loading and exporting data to and from our DMP

  • Facilitate new integrations within and outside of the platform with digital vendors and internal data warehouses to enhance audience capabilities

  • Author specifications and reference documentation around client onboarding, data sources, traits, segments, models and destinations

  • Partner with media and data teams to define test structures, deployment plans and analytics capabilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and business teams to design and build data products that integrate audiences into our marketing operations

  • Oversee and train others on the use of our DMP

Basic Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated experience in audience development

  • Experience with Data Management Platforms (BlueKai preferred) and LiveRamp or OnRamp

  • Strong understanding of troubleshooting out-of-the-box data integrations

  • Demonstrated track record of developing and retaining quality audiences across multiple channels

  • Understanding of how to interpret paid media performance, audience retention, content value and remarketing efforts

  • Skilled in ad servers, DSPs and general ad technology

  • Understanding of DMP technical improvements that drive performance

  • Knowledge of global tracking regulations and best practices including GDPR

  • Strong SQL experience and understanding of coding (JavaScript, Python, etc.) for analyzing problems that may appear with matching data sets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals

  • Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude

  • Experience in a subscription business

Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant focus (i.e., Advertising, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science or Statistics)
