The Walt Disney Company Data Integrations Manager, Marketing Platforms in New York, New York

The Data Integrations Manager, Marketing Platforms role is a critical position within Disney Streaming Services (DSS) that lives right in the middle of Marketing, Analytics, Data Science and Engineering. In this role, you will collaborate across the organization on the collection and activation of marketing data across all platforms. You will help architect and support the day-to-day operations, tracking and solutions engineering practices which will allow teams to fulfill their measurement and reporting agendas.

Responsibilities :

  • Be the resident expert on acquisition data platforms for DSS

  • Administer, configure and maintain data and media platforms in support of analytics, data science and marketing operations

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define requirements, drive adoption, lead user acceptance testing and address business and system issues

  • Develop SQL, Python and JavaScript code to support comprehensive data validation of all tracking implemented across our global initiatives to ensure measurement accuracy

  • Author tracking and tagging architectures, specifications and reference documentation

  • Oversee and train others on the use of acquisition data platforms

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and business teams to design and build data products that integrate into our marketing operations

Basic Qualifications :

  • Analytics and technology product management experience with a focus on Advertising and Marketing

  • A strong understanding of core marketing analytics concepts including impressions, clicks, pageviews, events, sessions, users, conversions, look back windows and attribution models

  • Demonstrated success architecting and delivering ETL concepts including data integration pipelines, staging tables, incremental loading, data quality and business logic

  • Experience working across marketing platforms such as Kochava, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Tag Manager, Flashtalking, Google Ads, Campaign Manager, DV360, Bing Ads, Facebook, BlueKai and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Experience with ETL-as-a-service platforms including Datorama, Segment, Alooma, etc.

  • Experience loading, transforming, and retrieving data from various databases

  • Experience with scripting and other languages including SQL, Python, JavaScript and regular expressions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience automating CI/CD workflows for software development and deployment

  • Working within the Marketing/Advertising vertical

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals

  • Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude

  • Experience in web-oriented technology products

  • Experience in a subscription business

Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant focus (i.e., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or Machine Learning)
