The Walt Disney Company Facilities & Security Coordinator in New York, New York
The Facilities & Security Coordinator plays a key role in assisting all Marvel & Disney staff in New York. This Coordinator role is closely tied to our Facilities function and will specialize in security systems and supporting the facility's physical security needs in New York. This position reports to the Sr Manager, Facilities and Security, and works closely with the Manager, Security, Facilities, and Content Protection in New York.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Visitor/Entry Security Policies are being followed at New York offices
Greet guests and visitors at Reception lobby. Ensure guests check in through the Marvel Studios visitor management system, sign an NDA, and receive a visitor badge.
Handle mail and delivery sorting, distribution, logging
Handle all phone calls to the office's main lobby
Execute badging, access control programming, key management, visitor management, etc.
Assist with travel planning, billing, and administrative functions for the department
Participates in the Crisis Management and Emergency Response program for Marvel Studios
Assist with maintaining and updating the Production Security Policies
Liaison with Disney Real Estate, Facilities, Disney Security, and other partners
Some on-set production security support when required
Potentially some travel for on-site security for events, screenings, film shoots, etc.
Work closely with Security, Technical Operations, and Production teams to support secure script reads, deliveries, and distributions
Work closely with Security and Facilities Manager relating to the destruction of sensitive documents, security escorts for guests/vendors, and general office-related security functions
Works with the local Manager to order office supplies & food/beverage needs, along with office & desk moves, office logistical support, etc.
Works closely with the Manager to support internal events, celebrations, and gatherings
Works closely with building management on compliance reviews, maintenance, and inspections
Basic Requirements:
2+ years of customer service experience in an entertainment or corporate environment
Some experience in Security, Facilities, and/or theatrical production
Some travel is possible with this position
be flexible and work production hours in some situations
Some weekend and evening work may occur
Must be on-call/available (at least by phone or email) 24/7 for security emergencies
Strong telephone and people skills

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $56,000 to $67,210 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
