Disney Entertainment Manager, Revenue Analytics in New York, New York

The Addressable Revenue Analytics Team’s (a subset of the Revenue & Yield Management Team) primary responsibilities focus on managing the ESPN, ABC, and Cable reporting suite (including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews) and key planning processes (Annual Budgets, Forecasts, and Long-Range Planning). Together, we aim to drive monetization through a deep understanding of data to develop sales strategies while simultaneously communicating them throughout the organization. The group consistently interacts with Sales, Pricing & Planning, Operations, Finance and Inventory/Yield Analytics.

Job Summary:

Disney’s Addressable Ad Analytics team is seeking a manager of Revenue Analytics who will be an exceptional addition to our Advertisement Sales team. As a Revenue Analytics Manager, you will be managing the forecast and analysis of the Sports and Entertainment Ad Sales portfolio enabling strategic decision-making. The role will also drive requirements, evaluate scenarios, and implement long term solution for scalable reporting process in order to accurately measure performance against short and long-term business goals.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Lead Sales-specific valuations and demand forecasts, in partnership with Finance teams for consistent application within financial plans. Analyze and consolidate macro-level business scenarios to evaluate solutions and quantify impacts across the Sales portfolio. Responsible for communicating those results to senior sales leadership team.

  • Manage analysts responsible for evaluating and communicating revenue analytics outputs that meet the needs of the Sales organization. Facilitate learning and identify opportunities for individual growth and development.

  • Drive requirements for Sales-based data collection, consolidation and exposure that meets cross-portfolio reporting needs. Develop uniform KPIs throughout the tech stack for consistent, scalable outputs in order to quantify real-time risks and opportunities.

  • Ad hoc projects; revenue risk and opportunity analysis associated with supply and demand changes. Work on new reporting based on evolving DTC business needs

  • Manage internal reporting outputs, distribution, and communication throughout the Sales organization. Partner across departments to identify marketplace, ownership (national, local, PM) reporting needs and oversee the accuracy of the data and effectiveness of insights to inform strategic decisions.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 5 years of digital media experience focused on revenue reporting and management; minimum 2 years of management experience.

  • Proficiency in working with ad serving and ad management tools (ad serving technologies, Operative One, Tableau, Salesforce, Google Ad Manager); able to identify requirements for advanced solutions within these tools.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software; expert Excel and PowerPoint user

  • Quantitative-thinker, with superior problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills. Comfortable leading projects and driving cross-departmental solutions.

The hiring range for this position is $126,000 - $157,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
