The ABC Owned Television Stations Group is a division of the Disney- ABC Television Group. Our stations have long held preeminent positions as trusted broadcast leaders. The stations and our strong portfolio of digital properties, allow marketers to reach our audience where they live, on every platform and on every device- reaching over 23% of all U.S. television households.

ABC National Television Sales (NTVS) is the sales representative for the eight ABC Owned Television Stations, digital platforms, digital out-of-home and place based media outlets.

ABC Full Circle, the business development team of NTVS, is looking for a self-motivated professional to join our team in the capacity of a Planner in our New York office. Qualified candidates will have experience overseeing the development and creation of multi-platform and multi-station packages utilizing ABC Owned and Non-Owned stations. As well as creating integrated promotional elements, stations websites, digital OOH, into multi-platform proposals.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with all Full Circle Business Development Account Directions in addition to the outside offices across the country

  • Work closely with Account Directions and marketing research in all efforts as it relates to prospecting new account and following advertising trends.

  • Work closely with research department pulling stations estimates and projections for various programming

  • Work directly with stations sales management and/or sales rep of Non-Owned ABC affiliates to collect stations pricing, audience estimates, and promotional/ digital elements.

  • Traffic spots to ABC Owned stations and non-owned affiliates across the country. Responsible for all commercial copy airing on all stations.

  • Create budget reports for upper management

  • Responsible for maintaining and posting current schedules to ensure we reach estimated goals. Work with Account Executives and stations to achieve all goals set forth as part of the campaign.

  • Attention to detail and working on multiple, complex proposals at the same time.

  • Strong organizational skills and problem solving ability

  • Positive attitude and a team player that works collaboratively across all departments

  • Anticipate campaign needs; fulfill campaign requests

  • Provide management with required sales reporting

  • Partner with stations, teammates and other divisions within the Walt Disney Company

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years’ successful building broadcast, digital and OOH plans

  • Proven track record of success building multi-screen campaigns

  • Strong prospecting and communication skills
