This team synthesizes information from across the business to ensure leaders are armed with all the necessary data before making strategic and financial decisions. From forecasting, funding, tracking, and reporting on projects, to ways of working, and resource management, Business Operations has visibility and input into all aspects of the team.
Disney Entertainment and EPSN Technology is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Technical Program Management team. You’ll be responsible for managing operational efforts developing large-scale applications for supporting our products. You’ll also function as the interface between Product, Engineering teams, and External Partners, participating in and facilitating coordination, alignment, road mapping, integrations, and the overall seamless delivery of best-in-class solutions.

Responsibilities:
Overseeing day-to-day project/program management of internal engineering team(s).
Working with external parties and our internal technical account management team.
Jira management and oversight (Kanban or otherwise).
Responsible for developing a roadmap for the team and keeping it in line with the priorities defined by product
Execute several projects concurrently, with a remote & distributed Engineering team, while balancing competing priorities
Facilitate and solidify project processes by creating, managing, and updating documentation
Keep stakeholders informed of day-to-day project statuses, updates, and risks
Cultivate relationships across engineering and technical teams while serving directly as the end-to-end liaison
Identify solution paths for competing requirements while managing stakeholder preferences
Demonstrate product knowledge, and facilitate the development of requirements in consideration of known technical capabilities and limitations
Work with backend and service teams to establish the needs of your team, continually communicate risks to all stakeholders, and facilitate discussions to help remove blockers.
Experience managing large teams on complex high-profile projects, and are viewed as the “go-to” individual
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years experience as a Project Manager managing large-scale projects
Experience running program support for external partnerships
Experience supporting external partnership needs with internal requirements
Knowledge of project management processes including Agile, Kanban, Waterfall
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
BA/BS or equivalent experience required

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, and New York City, NY is $102,500 - $137,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
